Yesterday, I mentioned how it was so smoggy here, (smog coming from LA) that we could barely see the surrounding mountains so today I thought I would show you what I meant. Anyone familiar with this website may recognize this basic scene with the difference being the lack of visibility of the mountain. If this is your first visit here the following two links will allow you to see how different the same shot can be the mountain with cloud coverage or the mountain with snow, same mountain, different views! Today’s high reached 33C (91.4F), even now at 8:00 PM it is still 29C (84.2F) and I took this picture on our way into Palm Springs at noon when it was only 30C (86F)!
