I don’t know how many of our readers have ever had body work done to a Moho while they are living it, but it is similar to living in a house while having drywall work done. The biggest difference would be that dry wall dust is courser than auto-body dust but regardless it gets everywhere.
Since last Wednesday we have received our Moho back each day from the service center with a fine layer of dust coating every surface and every evening we have done a quick wiping down to try to keep things in control. Today the dust was the thickest we have seen but to be fair, the crew seems to have done the most work too. When we got the Moho back this afternoon, we spent over an hour washing down all surfaces, vertical and horizontal, and vacuuming every nook and cranny as well. Though tomorrow there will be more dust created, hopefully by eliminating some of it today, it will not be so thick!
The weather here is wonderful right now so today we went on a motorcycle ride to the Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake Michigan. The ride was great, the park was beautiful and it was nice to venture outside of the immediate area around Wakarusa. Though the lake was cold, the air certainly wasn’t and we wished we had brought bathing suits just so we could relax on the beach for awhile. Rickey did manage to dabble his toes in it anyway!
