It's a Beautiful Day |

It is a gorgeous day here in Vancouver and it's on days like this when we are learning about all the different areas here, that we can understand why it is such a desirable place to live. People are out everywhere walking, rollerblading, skateboarding and bicycling and taking advantage of all the trails that the city has to offer.
Today I wanted to attend an open house at the West Coast Institute of Mystic Arts, a learning and support centre for some of the spiritual incidents that I have encountered. Rick was kind enough to drive me there because I am still a little apprehensive when it comes to finding my way around. (I am so lucky to have such a supportive partner!) It was wonderful to be surrounded by many other like-minded individuals, all intelligent, professionals with much to offer. I signed up for two courses that begin next week and I will keep you posted on my progress. We then drove downtown to see the progress of our Yaletown Condo, which is well under way and there were throngs of people everywhere enjoying the sunshine. We stopped at Urban Fare for a quick lunch then over to the house to visit and feed the cats. I have been working on the website trying to organize it for easier readability but there are a few glitches still to be resolved. Bit by bit things are falling into place and we are definitely feeling at home with our surroundings. Now if I can just get my bearings so I can drive alone....
This picture was taken last week at Cathedral Grove near Nanaimo.
