We found this fellow perched high above the river, looking for his next meal perhaps.
The deer just seem to be wherever you go in the Waterton Park Village. This guy was one of many just hanging out in the backyard of a house oblivious to the picture- taking visitors.
We hiked up a hill and this was our view.
Note the hotel (seen yesterday) on the left. Looks pretty small from this view, huh?
Near the top of our climb we came across this creek
looking inviting and peaceful.
The creek wasn't so peaceful at the top. These were just two different takes of the same location. I was having some fun with the camera!
There is a herd of buffalo in a paddock in the park where visitors can drive through to get closer. Today the herd was no where near the trail but I was able to get a good picture of them grazing in the distance.
Whether it is wildlife or just "plain" old nature, Waterton National Park is gorgeous.
The weather was very unsettled and I managed to get a good picture of the crazy clouds.
