Today our route took us from Creston, BC to Waterton Park in Alberta. The roads wound around and through the hills and mountains.... ..and through some mountain tunnels.... and by some beautiful mountain streams and rivers. And then the terrain changed. This beautiful structure greeted us once we arrived in Waterton. It looked eerie in the fog! The wildlife in Waterton is plentiful. This brown coloured Black Bear was looking for berries which were still plentiful. The elk were in "rut", mating season and the males were letting us know! This male elk was very proud of his huge rack and his harem.
