2006-09-20a.jpg.jpgToday our route took us from Creston, BC to Waterton Park in Alberta.

2006-09-20b.jpgThe roads wound around and through the hills and mountains....

2006-09-20c.jpg..and through some mountain tunnels....

2006-09-20d.jpgand by some beautiful mountain streams and rivers.

2006-09-20e.jpgAnd then the terrain changed.

2006-09-20f.jpgThis beautiful structure greeted us once we arrived in Waterton. It looked eerie in the fog!

2006-09-20g.jpgThe wildlife in Waterton is plentiful. This brown coloured Black Bear was looking for berries which were still plentiful.

The elk were in "rut", mating season and the males were letting us know!

2006-09-20i.jpgThis male elk was very proud of his huge rack and his harem.
