This morning we packed up our motorhome because we were moving to the Cookstown KOA to go camping for the weekend. Who ever thought one additional adult and one baby could make it such an ordeal! The weather forecast was calling for a mostly sunny weekend with highs near 18C, so though still a little cool; it looked like it would be perfect for camping.

Karley, Rick and Makai headed down to Cookstown in the motorhome while I went grocery shopping before joining them. Jay was renting the Duck Bay cottage up at Sparrow Lake for the weekend and stopped by the campground on his drive north to visit for a while. We tried to convince him to change his plans and stay in Cookstown with us, renting one of the cabins, but because he had two friends with him, it was not to be. Even though it would have been a good opportunity for him to get to know his nephew a little better, he had also already paid for the cottage up north.

Gayle and Graham were parked beside us and Taunja, their daughter, and her two girls, Faith and Bryden, came for a visit much to Makai's delight. Like most babies, other children mesmerize him so he was definitely entertained by these cute little people. Fortunately we have been able to borrow many baby needs from Dana, Taunja, Gayle and Graham so Makai is enjoying similar equipment that he has at home, like the exer-saucer seen here.
