This past weekend, Jay flew back to Vancouver to help Karley and Ian move into their new house in Mission, BC about an hour east of Vancouver on Saturday. Both Karley and Ian have been busy packing as much as they could but there was still plenty to do and both Jay and Sarah’s help was greatly needed. We spoke with Karley on Sunday and she reports the following:

Makai loves the new house, lots of places to crawl around and cupboards to get into. His new room is set up and he has settled into it nicely. Mina and Sasha wandered around the house (it’s much bigger than what they are used to) meowing incessantly but enjoying looking out the dozens of windows (at the birds, no doubt!). First Mina did the howling during the day however Sasha waited until the wee hours of Sunday morning to ensure everyone (including Makai) was awake at 6:30 AM.

Their new across-the-street neighbours came by on Saturday evening with a platter of freshly made sushi after Karley and Ian had declined a dinner invitation on account of all their unpacking. Sunday, Karley and Ian spent the day unpacking and organizing and getting acquainted with their new abode. Jay flew to Calgary for another week of work away from his new home and Sarah is spending some time with a friend coming to visit from Ontario tomorrow. There you have it folks, the latest from Vancouver, lots of info to keep you updated on at least some of the offspring!

PS: Today Bill and Ian are celebrating their birthdays, Happy Birthday Boys!
