Today I gave myself permission not to swim, not to help folks with their computer problems, not to work and not to write a long journal entry. Instead I accompanied Rick to Palm Springs this morning where we had a pleasant, leisurely stroll downtown and enjoyed a yummy lunch at Tyler’s, a popular hamburger joint (and yes, they have veggie burgers too). On our way home we bought a couple of orange trees to plant on our site and even though we may not have the same site next year, it is our donation to the park.

Using our webcam, we talk to Makai, Karley and Monet almost daily and Ian when he is home. Karley sent me some pics of the kids that she took yesterday when Makai insisted on holding his little sister. As you can see, they are growing very fast!
