 Last night after we saw George Carlin at the Fantasy Springs Casino we decided to try our luck in the slot machines. Recently we'd been having some pretty good luck when we played the penny slots so we thought we would try again. I suppose all good things have to come to an end eventually and last night was the end of our good luck and so we left there with a few less dollars in our pockets than when we arrived.
Because it was a late night, this morning I slept in (7:30 AM) and instead of walking when I woke up, I swam instead, something I haven't done in a while. I enjoyed having the pool to myself and after a leisurely swim, I made my way home. Rick had been up and out of the Moho since 7:00 AM, working around the park (see the new sidewalk and cactus gardens!) so I had the place to myself.
I did help a couple of folks with computer related problems this morning but I spent most of my day working on the website. In case you are wondering where, I have started at the beginning, editing the very first entries and working my way forward. This afternoon I created a really yummy dish for dinner, always a form of relaxation for me, and this evening more website stuff. Though it may not seem like a great day off, I enjoyed having the time to do as I pleased without being interrupted by anyone.
