This winter was a long one. We had our first snowfall on October 31 and it never stopped. It was good for the bed and breakfast business because we hosted a lot of skiers, both downhill and cross country. We had sold our snowmobiles a few years ago because it seemed like the greenhouse effect had come and our winters had little snow. Of course since then we have been having record snowfalls. It was a snow lover's paradise.

Of course when there is an abundance of snow it makes the roads slippery and potential purchasers do not want to drive around in the country. Worse than that, if someone was interested they didn't want to wade around in waist high snow to see 100 acres or any of the out buildings. The interest in the property was there, but the weather just didn't co-operate. One lady from the states wanted to see the property but the weather prevented her from getting here.

Outdoor Travel, the dealers we ordered the motorhome from, called to say "Our Baby" was arriving soon. We hadn't expected it until April! Now, we were really anxious for the house to sell!
