We pulled into the Little Farm On The River RV Park in Rising Sun, Indiana by lunchtime. It was clean, new and Jim and Debbie, the managers were most accommodating.

We have decided to stay here for the next 10 days. It is so pretty and there are lots of things to see and do in the area. There is a casino in less than a mile from here and some historic towns nearby and at the campground; they even have a petting zoo.

The Internet and TV work beautifully so I can get caught up with my journal. I have been taking pictures now that I have figured out how to use my new camera and am uploading them on the site. Please be sure to check our pictures on Flickr (link to the left) for them. Rick was in his glory, finally cleaning and waxing the motorhome for most of the day in the balmy 11 degrees Celsius weather. Tonight we went to the Grand Victoria Casino just down the road. We were back by 11:30 so we could bring in the New Year in our home.

We met some other campers here for just a short while...one couple from Ohio and the other from Texas. They too went to the Casino for New Years Eve. The problem with all casinos is the smoking.... after we got back we smelled like ashtrays. We are so glad we aren't saddled with that horrible addiction!
