After a really great night's sleep, we woke up early so that we could get on the road by 9:30 AM. It was another beautiful day and we were looking forward to our drive south. We had an appointment in Naples to meet with Gord Brown, of RV Sunshade Co. to have some window coverings made for the coach. These are very slick window coverings that are installed on RV windows to help protect the interior and give you some privacy when you are parked without having to close your curtains or blinds. The sun in the south can be hard on leather and vinyl and we knew that we wanted to help preserve our interior as much as possible. There are a number of systems on the market and we have researched most of them however in our opinion RV Sunshade Company has the nicest ones.

We met with Gord.... on time.... and then we went to Pelican Bay in Naples to meet Chris and Fred for lunch. They drove us around the complex where they were staying. It consists of condos, townhouses, villas and luxury homes in a perfectly manicured park like setting. Then we took a shuttle ride to the beach area to have lunch at one of the restaurants. We had a great lunch and on the way back to the parking lot we were able to observe a large alligator wallowing in the surrounding Mangrove swamp. We said our goodbyes and headed off to Miami.

Here we are: from left Fred, Christine, Graham, Gayle, Rick and me!
