When Rick went back to Ontario in May, he flew there but drove back. The reason he drove back was because he was bringing a car to BC to sell it for his brother-in-law. The car in question is a 1994 Chevy Corvette, not a bad car to drive across country. It is a very "pretty" car in excellent condition and it has never been looked after so well. It only has 84,000 kms. on it and has all the options.
We actually toyed with the idea of keeping it ourselves for a while except that it is not at all practical for us. It is only a 2-seater, is not towable unless we put it on a trailer and has no storage space in it. It is actually pretty good on gas considering what it is and it is fun to drive, however it is for sale. Here on Vancouver Island where they have such fine weather would be a perfect place to own a sports car but to date we still haven't sold it. Rick has advertised it extensively, taken it to car shows and has a "for sale" sign in the window. We have had a few tire kickers but no serious offers yet.
In four weeks we head up island to Campbell River and would like to have it sold before we go. The price is right, $23,500 and there is a little room for negotiation so if anyone reading this knows anyone who is in the market..........
