Getting Caught Up PDF Print E-mail

We haven't had full hook-ups since we left the Hollywood Casino RV Park in Tunica, Mississippi on the 22nd of April. As a result, I haven't been able to do laundry in the motorhome since then and we have resorted to using laundromats. The advantage of going to a laundromat is that several loads can be done at once however, I usually do one small load a day so it is never a problem. We did do some laundry in Wakarusa while we were there and today we ventured into Orillia to do some more.

After a short visit with Mom, who was very excited to see Rick, it was nice to return to the motorhome with all our laundry caught up and clean. The weather here is quite cold and almost winter-like, only 7C today and not very inviting, hence my decision to lie down for a nap when we got back. I guess my internal time clock is a little confused as I have found myself wide-awake when I should be sleeping and today I felt drained. Besides, I wanted to be well rested because I was getting together with Rosanne and some other ladies later on for an evening of meditation and whatever else came our way.

Without going into detail at this time, I can tell you I had a fabulous evening at Rosanne's and I feel like I have awakened a part of me that has been asleep for the past year. Spending any time at all with her has that effect on me and I am just grateful to have the opportunity to spend some time with her and her friends.
