When I walk at the crack of dawn, though I may walk by myself I am not walking alone. I often encounter Bill and Ardell, another couple of volunteers here, as they go on their fast paced morning walk. It seems Ardell moves to the sound of some “walking” music she has recorded on her MP3 player and Bill stays in step with her. Ardell supplied me with her source, workoutmusicvideo.com and I ordered three Cd’s of my own. Okay, so I might know a thing or two about computers but I know nothing at all about little computerized devices. We have one little MP3 player and last night I tried to transfer music through my computer from the CD’s into the player. It took me about two hours to finally get all of only19 songs on the device and even those didn’t transfer well. Tonight we went to Costco and I bought myself an iPod so I could put all my “walkout” tunes on one device (it holds up to 2000 songs!). It is called an iPod Nano and it is bright pink, tiny and cute and I am at a total loss to figure it out! This thing comes with NO directions; a manual can be downloaded from the internet but so far it isn’t helpful at all. Since we arrived home at 8:00 PM, three and a half hours ago, even after reading the manual, I still have no idea what to do with it or how to add music to it. I am officially technologically challenged!
