sept 2-07.jpgSo far I have been able to restore entries back to the first of July though they are missing any active links that I’d entered when I originally posted them and they haven’t been proof read. After everything is restored back to April, I will go back to the beginning…again…and fix or insert broken links and correct grammar and spelling. I am certainly feeling a lot more optimistic than I was a few days ago. Smile

On Friday, Rick, Helen and I went shopping for household things. Four and a half years ago, when we first got the Moho, I did a little shopping for flatter, unbreakable dishes, acrylic glasses and a smaller set of cutlery. However, a Moho comes fully furnished and because we minimized the “must haves”, moving into a new 2 bedroom condo now means we have some serious shopping to do. We bought new dishes (colourful stoneware as opposed to white Corelle), glasses (no more plastic), cutlery, towels and bed linens; a one stop shop, thanks to Home Outfitters.

Just after our offer to purchase the condo was accepted Rick and I went furniture shopping and with the exception of lamps and window coverings, we purchased two bedroom sets, a couch, two arm chairs, a coffee table and end tables and a dining table and chairs; enough to fully furnish our new home. We have our artwork from the old house and a few sentimental knick knacks but pretty much everything else is new so it has been a fun two weeks. We even purchased a new wall-mounted flat screen TV as well as “surround sound” components (something the Moho has and something we have become used to). SO as September 17th approaches, we are becoming even more excited (I didn’t think that was possible!)

I am anxious to see our purchases in our new home and I am looking forward to doing the final decorating. Yesterday Rick and Makai created some jewellery and here is a picture of Makai trying on a new necklace for size!
