Whiling Away Some Time |

What do you do on a long, weekend with a crappy weather forecast and you are stuck in a parking lot of a motorhome manufacturer? Well sleep, relax, surf the net and watch movies all come to mind and those were some of the things we did today. Firstly and most importantly we slept and enjoyed the fact that we had no agenda hence no hour we had to get up by. It is very quiet here; we are parked in the front lot where we are alone and away from any other RV repair “leftovers”. We like it better on this side because it is less dusty (though with the damp weather there is really no dust anywhere) and strangely enough, a little less busy. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at home today and were in no rush to shower or get going for the day. Once we did, we headed into Elkhart to do a little shopping at a grocery store; something we really haven’t done in a while. Martin’s is the grocery store chain here that looks to be the most progressive and we weren’t disappointed by the choices available. Though I found no organic produce (I didn’t need much anyway thanks to the Framer’s Market on Thursday) I was able to get some organic cream for our coffee. (We seem to be back on daily coffee again, no doubt due to the early mornings.) Once we arrived back home, the weather continued to be grey, the forecast for the entire weekend, and we continued our laziness. It is hard to get motivated to do anything with “heavy weather”, a hint of a headache as a result, and the fact that we are officially here beyond our planned length of stay. The good news is we will be well rested by the time 5:30 rolls around on Tuesday morning in order to have our rig at Precision Painting for it’s 7:00 AM appointment. Yesterday while at the FMCA Rally in Berrien Springs, I encountered this pair of pugs decked out in their sunhats, though the skies were mainly overcast. There was a Hawaiian theme at the Rally and this duo’s owner dressed her canine pals accordingly!
