We were all a little sluggish this morning, enjoying our last few days of Rob and Rosanne's holiday with us. We had done enough sightseeing, but we wanted to venture into San Antonio to do some shopping. The weather was certainly warm enough, 27C+ (80F+) but it was overcast. We went to a Honda dealer to look at bikes, mopeds and ATV's, just out of curiosity. We have met a number of RVers who have a motorcycle or moped on the back of their motorhome as well as their tow vehicle and after our motorcycle adventure, we have been considering something. We looked at Hondas, Yamahas and Suzuki's. The new mopeds are 600+ CC's, fast, sharp to look at and light enough to carry and a lot less than a large cruiser bike.

From there, we went to Dave and Busters for lunch, a large Texas style restaurant where we enjoyed a good meal. Then we took Rob and Rosanne to Costco, a little different here than at home, and finally to a Super Target. On the way home we stopped at Camping World and then toured some fifth wheel trailers. They are really nice, higher ceilings and roomier inside than a motorhome, but need to be towed with a truck. We had considered buying a fifth wheel trailer when we made the decision to become "fulltimers" but for our purposes, we preferred a motorhome.

We went back to Boerne for supper at a popular Mexican restaurant, Margarita's, where we enjoyed another good meal. When we got back to the campsite, Rick and Rob went about the process of packing everything up outside, in preparation for our departure back to Dallas in the morning. We were taking a longer, more scenic route there so we needed to get a good night's sleep in order to be on the road by 10:00 AM. Smile
